Yup absolutely. I just remember seeing these two games, both by Rage, have issues on the V1 with a fast CPU . Can people stop beating this dead horse already? Its buss speeds that's the problem and not cpu speed. All 3dfx cards prier to the vsa-100 have problems with higher then stock pci buss …

I was remotely working on a computer on this network today, did a speed test. No one was on the network... 468ms ping .6dl .1up

No QoS and they mostly use it at the same time. How they get by is beyond me. I never even had them complain about it. Most of the sites they use are web portal sites with lots of js and flash junk. I guess they do get payed by the hour.

Safely depends on 3 things 1: your systems cooling 2: your motherboards vrm 3: your psu If you have good cooling, 8pin cpu cable and strong vrm along with a psu that can handle the load 4ghz would be my limit for daily usage. But 3ghz is the highest oc most can hit and 3.2ghz on a g0

Make sure its not a flashed Quadro FX 1000 or 2000 with a different heatsink and what not.

Most new routers have vpn support. All you have to do is enable it and setup a username and password. I guess that's pretty hard.

Cool. A powerful notebook like a Lenovo W series with a lot of RAM on a 7BIT OS should be able to run plenty of VMs and take up virtually no room whatsoever. Plus the power consumption should be relatively low. :lol: But can't be upgraded like a desktop. Probably has no ps/2 ports or vga. And costs …

Laptops for many years have been powerful enough to act as servers. Especially for gaming. Helps if you have one. Right now I don't have a working system at home. I'll get that fixed soon. Basically I only have room for one system and I plain to add more games to the server with each in it's own VM …
