I do not recommend any GF6 or FX-5xxx cards for Win98. Too many driver issues. GF4-ti4xxx or Radeon-9xxx is what I go for, when dealing with a fast Win98 machine. Plus you need to check if the machine has Win98 drivers at all. Pci-E sounds concerning. What driver issues? I had a fx card in just …

my guess off the top of my head, its some sort of old raid card with a lot of ram for cache or a scsi/cache combo card.

I still say... Keep the Radeons and get some GF4-ti4200/4400/4600 cards if you want a nice collection. Even GF4-ti4200 is a great card, as it never heats it self to death, when not overclocking. Shure you need to install patches for early Win98 games. Any faster, then use the Radeons. 5800 ultra …

Honestly the higher end fx cards are not that bad if you know how to tweak them right. I had a setup with a fx5950 ultra and was able to get more out of it them with a 9800. For instance, i was able it max out games like amnesia at 1280x1024 with decent fps, but then i dont know much about tweaking …

How did the voodoo2 sli preform in 7 64? I did a little tested a single voodoo2 in xp64 and 7 64 and found the 64bit drivers were abit slower.

looks like there is spot in the front for a 50/60mm fan, and room in the back to mod a found mount for a 40-60mm fan. Id just add a fan in the front and call it a day for cooling.

Update. I got all the water cooling parts ordered. Also I choose to go with 6 300gb raptors in raid 0 and use a 120gb pcie ocz sdd for the os. That's close to 2tb of storage.
