It's a socket 423 p4. Not a Xeon. I see a lot of sk423 p4s on eBay with them.

One thing people forget with sdram boards is of-166 ram. Granted it doesn't bridge the gap, but it helps.

Also, whats the difference between an Abit BW7 and a TH7? Wasn't aware they had 2 lines of i850 boards. One is 423 and the other is 478 if I recall.

More parts for my SK423 build. I got a 450w SPI PSU for the system. All I need now is a DVD drive that looks right in the system and a few mosfet sinks. Maybe a NB heatsink if the stock one it too tall for the cpu heatsink. Believe or not I found a Thermalright HR-01 423 mounts. 😲

Well the way I look at it. If I have no use for the part at the moment I'll sell it or give away, If its broken I ether fix it or scrap it. Never toss old pc parts, you can get a little back out of dead parts, steel, copper, aluminum are all worth money. And you save room in the land fills

Most cases should only cost 30-40$ to ship tops. I ship a lot of AT cases for around 20-25$. Its call parcel select. and not some pricy 2 or 3 day service or UPS/FedEx. Its getting it to your door in one peace that's the problem. Rates from Norway with snail mail would start at $50-60. No wonder …
