I second rasteri. Dump your CDs twice and check if the cheksum is the same. If it's not, dump it again and check if any of your images now match. If it still doesn't, inspect the CD, clean it and try again. Otherwise your CD might be just dead.

Did you recap the motherboard ? A600s and A1200s are prone to capacitor leakage that will eventually destroy the motherboard

You don't need a programmer to dump a 64kb or less bios (which is your case) 😀 Disable shadow bios in the CMOS setup if it's enabled and then run this program http://cd.textfiles.com/microhaus/mhblackbox3 … MORY/GETROM.ZIP

It should POST with the dallas battery being flat (it's not rechargeable anyways), but it won't save the BIOS settings of course
