You don't need a programmer to dump a 64kb or less bios (which is your case) 😀 Disable shadow bios in the CMOS setup if it's enabled and then run this program http://cd.textfiles.com/microhaus/mhblackbox3 … MORY/GETROM.ZIP

You'll have to remove the DALLAS chip in any case. If you want a CR2032 battery onboard you'll have to : replace the dallas with some regular RTC chip, add the socket and potentially add other stuff (32.768khz quartz, two capacitors ...). If you keep the board the way it is, you'll have to either …

It should POST with the dallas battery being flat (it's not rechargeable anyways), but it won't save the BIOS settings of course

A voodoo 2 can't be used as a standard VGA card. It doesn't have a VGA bios and doesn't have any VGA standard implemented to it. That's why there's a passthrough cable. It's for you to feed the signal from a standard VGA card to the voodoo 2 which will switch the signal depending on if it's used or …

Make sure you use FPM RAM and not EDO as 486 have trouble running those.
