Well the problem isn't really their speed (the chipset is the latest UMC chipset available) but their reliability : the PCB is super thin ... and that's the reason my board died ... After mounting/dismantling it several times, it died 🙁

I had that board (until it died 🙁 ) and after removing fake cache and puting real one, it worked ! I checked with cachechk and speedsys. I've only seen the traces going to nowhere on the pcchips m919 for now.

That's a pcchips m915i with fake cache (though the fake cache isn't soldered on yours, so you can replace it with real one, that'll do the trick !)

What game did you use and what's the actual directx version you installed ? (PS: you don't need to disable the printer port to use the IRQ5 except if your printer port is actually set to irq5, but that's quite unusual) Oh and also, which motherboard are you using ?

Either your video ram has problems or your video card doesn't like to run with a 40MHz bus (PCI is rated fo 33MHz. Running the CPU at 40*3MHz makes the whole PCI bus to run at 40MHz)

Yeah that's unusual. My SX 25 does better than this I think (I did not bench it but that's how the game feels) However my 386SX25 is well optimized (with 70NS RAM, a good video card, tight ram timings ...). Check that on yours to get more performance

Normally you'd need to replace the quartz as well to increase the speed of the CPU (you could probably even oc it ) ... but on your card I can't figure out where it is (if there's even one. Maybe they're generating the 8Mhz with the 4.77MHz speed of the ISA ?)

Look at the reference of the chip that are soldered on the circuit right next to the sockets, they must be the ones you need. Though I won't recommend this card for 386/486, realtek video cards were cheap and slow.
