Case LED repair

So I have an old ATX case that I had an issue with the green power LED. When I pulled the LED out of the system, I found a lot of black residue on the internal metal contacts. That's why the LED was putting out little to no light at all and was very hard to see. This case has a red LED for a HDD …

Re: Voodoo II found in Midway arcades

I have a pair of 12MB Voodoo2 cards in one of my systems and an 8MB version in another. From what I understand, the difference between 8MB and 12MB was they doubled each Texture Mapper's memory space from 2MB each to 4MB each. The Frame Buffer was 4MB on all cards. THAT'S the big issue. It's also really hard to find cables at 1-foot (30cm) or less. Most are at …

Re: Voodoo pass-thru Option #431987

Don't know. All the "original" cables I've seen have been black. I used one of the new cables to hook up a Voodoo2 and the picture quality is very good on my LCD TV. Colors are vibrant, there's no static or distortions, pixels are sharp. It looks good.

Re: Voodoo pass-thru Option #431987

So the cables have arrived and I placed them down next to the older cable I already had. They're equivalent lengths, the cable is just as thick around but it's more flexible - probably because it's newer. I placed a AA-size battery for comparison.
