My case has arrived!! I have more photos if anyone wants them. This is different than the case I linked to previously. This one has a 500w PSU as opposed to a 450w. Next up: MOTHERBOARD!

With regard to video cards, I often see debates about DRAM vs VRAM. What are the differences? I guess the CL 5436 and 5446 are out, since they are PCI.

I was considering looking for the Cirrus Logic 5436 and 5446 as my graphics cards. They were meant to be a pair and they provide both 2D and 3D acceleration.

I had like two of the later 486 variety but ended up selling them as the math cos were just too expensive and hard to find. Don't get too disappointed if you don't find anything right away as you might end up waiting months if not a year or more until one pops up. I'm not too worried about waiting. …

Well, I am using Seagate's Seatools to limit the total capacity of the drive so it will be compatible with the older OSes. I am not sure if I can have partitions of different sizes.
