I even installed 7.1 drivers that were used by review sites when this card as released and no luck - immediate freeze in every single test!

Epilogue of the story: Yesterday I went back to the seller with the card and let him test it in one of his systems: the exact problem that I encountered was reproduced - freeze in any 3dmark, Half life 2, Doom 3 and so on. He took the card back and gave me a geforce 7900 gs 512mb agp from Gainward! …

I installed omega drivers drivers 7.12 found on Phil's website and tried 3dmark 2001 - freeze in the first test! Unless anyone here has some advice i am going to send the card back!

I installed driver version 9.11 from the link provided by The Serpent Rider and now it passes the first test in 3dmark 2003 but locks up in the second!

I have just finished testing Abit Fatal1ty F-190HD with ATI radeon xpress 1250 chipset with various processors: all Pentium 4/D; Core 2 duo/quad FSB 1066 are supported out of the box. Core 2 duo FSB 1333 such as E8400 E0 are also supported. Core 2 quad FSB 1333 are NO GO.

I never tried Omega drivers because the official drivers work just fine! Strongly recommend checking PSU first and make sure you have good brand name one with a strong 5V rail before starting further investigations!
