Tinkered with my BBS setup some more. Think I have the dialup part working but finding someone to test with is difficult. Got the notification that my Mouser order finally shipped and my new Desolder pump *not really retro but used to fix em* arrives tomorrow!

Tested a Zip 100 drive. Halfway copying files it would crash W98/2K/Xp and crash the drive on W7/10. Tested with TIP (trouble in paradise utility that tests the disks) and it would start displaying "error seeking head", probably meaning the head is busted on one side. Disks retested in another …

Yeah, the high amperage one with the redundant trace removed? It does look like the AT connectors are on backorder. I'm looking up the crimps and housings. I'm gonna make one with crimped on plug and short wires. Will also solve the old AT pin vs new AT square pin problem as well hopefully.

I know its not PC hardware, but it is still vintage. Picked up this little gem for a steal off my local craigslist. Best part is, it works. Bad part is, I have absolutely no software for it.
