Thanks for looking. 😀 CT2501 is the version of the Vibra chipset on it, not the model of the card itself. It's apparently a "Vibra 16S", as mentioned on the Sound Blaster Wikipedia page. Unfortunately this does not bring me any closer to figuring out the jumpers. 🙁

I had the same problem with my old BH6 when I brought it out of retirement, on exactly the same CPU as you. I solved it by flashing the latest BIOS. I think. Or maybe it solved itself, like yours, and it was just a coincidence. Who knows, right? YOLO. 😁

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! Got hold of a Roland USB interface, and can now transfer Sysex without a problem. The midi file sek has a weird instrument in it, but I'm starting to think that is the fault of the file...

I assume the LM317 is what does the regulation, from the 12V ISA line. 2A on the 12V means you'd be drawing 24W from the power supply via the ISA bus just on this card, that's a non-negligible amount.
