Re: Monkey Island 1&2: Roland MT-32 + Sound Blaster support

in DOS
I know its an old thread, maybe making my own would make more sense, but it seems to fit here. I've been setting up an old 486 and wanted to get these games working. PC has a SB16 value, and a first revision MT32. Its a AMD X5 133 chip, with 32megs of ram. As downloaded, both monkey 1 and 2 both …

RD-RAM Auction Help

I've been looking for some 512MB sticks of PC1066 for a couple of Pentium III and Pentium 4 builds. I've come across these: eBay Link , but due to the lack of brand other than "3D COLOR", serial number, and seller "Multiple Locations, USA", I'm suspicious of these either being new fakes or era- …

Re: were/are the Voodoo 4 and 5 even worth owning?

Glad to hear the V4/5 still works fine with DOS games... if I were to ever seriously want one, being bad for pure DOS would be an immediate turn-off. My Windows 98se rig is built to handle as many oldschool games as possible, from old CGA RPGs up to whatever it can handle with its hardware. That's …
