I’ve tried searching the forums and web for a good place to buy AT cases (other than eBay) but it’s difficult to find anything good since “at” brings up everything known to man because it’s such a common word. Does anyone here have a go to place for such things?

Try to write 0000 to it on the a modern pc and then on the 386 do a fdisk to add the partitions and then do a fdisk /mbr to replace the mbr.

Well I replaced the two large capacitors. Still no luck. I wired up a cr2032 battery to the RTC. No luck. I have a couple more socket 4 CPU's coming in the mail. If a different CPU doesn't work then back to the drawing board i suppose.

probably a dumb question, but does the CPU have a cooler? Those old Socket 4 pentiums NEED a cooler. they get way to hot. If it has a cooler that is not glued down reapply thermal compound. No. There's no real advantage in Win3.1 gaming. Those that did were done with WinG which was pretty late in the Win3.1 life anyway (and border into the Win95 release schedule) Probably the only reason to keep Win3.1 around is for those old icon-based novelty programs and some of the vanity shells …
