Thanks for all the help. I don't want a P5 machine as it's too close in power to my DX4-100(120) so I think this would be a nice next chronological step. This and then maybe a P3 unit, and I will have met up with my Athlon XP+ in chronology.

Was wondering how people are going with that, with Socket 8 stuff did you ever have any issues, compatibility stuff? I am talking Pentium Pro machines. How is 3D support? Just asking for sake of conversation and if the price is right, that will be my next step for computing.

The DOS window system is notoriously buggy. I suggest you vanilla DOS or boot up in DOS mode.

Early LCDs are the best for DOS to Win98. Make sure it has good support for low refresh rates, and that it doesn't ghost.
