As you mentioned, some Commodore monitors support an RGBi signal, but not (to my knowledge) an EGA signal. This is because the C128 has RGBi out. I had a funny idea one time to have my 486 AWE32 go MIDI to MIDI into a Soundblaster Live. That way I can load up to a 512 MB soundfont onto the soundblaster live. I could also attach it to a computer, in which case sky's the limit.

Need to get an ISA Ethernet card (Or VLB would be nice). I put a post on freecycle and I am surprised it hasn't been answered yet. Normally people jump to get rid of their crap ISA cards.
