An Athlon64 system with an X800xt/x850xt and a PCI sound card with decent SB Pro legacy audio makes for one hell of a fast and compatible Win98 setup, that is not something you can do with a Core 2 setup.

I remember playing this game on my AthlonXP + Radeon 8500 back in the day, and it was not the most pleasant experience. In some late heavily shaded games - yes. X1900/X1950 were absolute beasts in terms of shader performance. Uh.. No pics to post yet as the card hasn't been received yet but I had to share my joy at finding a Radeon X800XT PE AGP for 5 bucks! Now I can downgrade my Socket 754 from an X1950PRO to this, add a cheapo YMF-724 or Solo-1 sound card and it can double serve as my ULTIMATE Windows 98 PC!

I believe your motherboard can already cache >64MB RAM, if that's indeed the case you really had no use for a K6-2+ to be honest, bad investment..
