For the case, there is nothing to restore. No way to remove that ugly white lacquer. That's pretty defeatiest; there are very effective ways of removing paint from plastic.. Have you really tried them? Not really. It sticks on plastic and metal and you cannot remove it even with a screwdriver. What …

My DX33 in 1993 came with only 213MB and by the time it was upgraded to a DX4 in 1995 I was either barely or still not at 500MB in terms of capacity. Took apart and cleaned up a HIS X1950PRO 512MB AGP with a Thermaltake AT1 mounted on top. One of the earliest examples of blower style coolers; they were common on premium ATI cards from HIS at the time.
