Unless I stumble across one at a local scrapper I have zero intentions of buying a GUS. Even if I stumble across one I would trade it for something else most likely.

Do you even need a floppy drive? Once you have your system installed and configured, it's pretty much useless. It's more an authenticity/restoration goal.. At the very worst I can cover it with one of the many front bay covers I have lying about, but I'm sure I can get a floppy fitted there somehow …

The Gravis Ultrasound is rare and expensive for collectors. But I just want a good sounding ISA sound card that has the clarity of the GUS. Do you know of any ? I have a Sound Blaster 2.0 right now but it’s not to clear in playing DOS games. From Terratec, EWS64/XL and Maestro 32/96. From Turtle …

Under Win98 go to Start > Programs > Accessories > System Information > Hardware Resources and check the IRQ, DMA and Address sections to see if anything shares those resources with the ALS100. I would keep the Savage4. If you really will throw it away send it to me. I would also keep one of the Rage AIW cards with the tuner and VIVO. The G400 definitely stays. G550 stays if PCI.

I don't consider post Socket 754 retro but I used AM2/2+/3 platform as a daily driver for around 13 years from 2006 to 2019 and love it dearly.
