I assume it will work fine in Windows's DOS Box - with possibility of use its hardware midi as MPU401. In plain DOS probably your way to go is DSDMA - which is quite compatible. However you'll get only SBPro and OPl3 here (no MPU401). It works this way with i865 (ICH5), so probably it will work …

Do the YF724/744 chipsets work with i810 in the absence of PC/PCI? I am planning to replace an FM801 card with it in Windows 98SE specifically, will I get OPL3, SBPro and MIDI out of this card?
