It's a Compaq Deskpro EP motherboard, one of the earlier Slot-1 versions. I believe that one is actually based on an Intel motherboard. There are also 3 PCI mATX i810 Socket 370 ones that lack AGP slots for that system.

Fun fact. DiabloTek made a 128MB DDR Radeon 7500 PCI. Ridiculous. More RAM than a 7500 of any type had any business having. I think.. If you haven't played it, you definitely should do it today on a beefed up system. It's still a fantastic piece of tech and a very good game. At least the first 75% is.

Star Office 5a was certainly available for Linux. You can get legacy version 7 still if you want http://www.staroffice.com/get.php. Star Office 7 was packaged wih Xandros 2 Business Edition. Yip 64megs is a bit of an over kill on a 486 but more the better for Linux :) Just fired an old Xandros 2 …

You could use the Reset switch on the case connected to an appropriate jumper on the board to change CPU type from DX2 to DX, which would theoretically disable the internal multiplier and bring the CPU down to 33Mhz.
