Mac version of Blood? Probably works horrible. It's somewhat problematic to run Build games even now (see Ion FuryMaiden), after years of source code tinkering.

How does garbage collection/TRIM work on SLC SSDs (like Intel X25-E) ? It just works (c) Tod Howard. But TRIM is not supported and not required. Are they better than MLCs for Win98 ? Depends how hard you use it. Typical workload for a Pentium-like system won't make a dent on MLC drive performance.

but the video cards... are they going to impact the FPS at all? You need significantly higher resolution and/or better CPU to see the difference.

K6-2+ 550 won't be enough for stable 60+ fps experience in 800x600. It will be more or less playable though.

How much limitations were there for that? RTFM. I need to TRIM my 2GB CF card CF cards can't do TRIM. At least not 10-15 years old junk.

Rudolf had utility to run TRIM in pure DOS, but it has some limitations.

but they can prevent you from damaging the core. Silicon pads are better.

Copper spacers are not required. Just use strips of paper around the core or thin silicon pads. Never had any problems with proper coolers though, i.e. not typical GlacialTech and Thermaltake garbage.

Now I have the proof, that even some 5V CPUs were relabeled: AMD Am486DX2-66.jpg Production number - 25220 . Which is NV8T DX2 series , designed to work at 3V. That particular CPU doesn't work at 3V, but is stable at 4V. Can't be oveclocked to 80Mhz even with 5V though. In other words, it's a faulty …
