My Guillemot Maxi Gamer 3D will lock up the computer if it runs at more than 66MHz FSB. Tried on several motherboards and chipsets. (Using the correct PCI divider of course!) It's the most speed sensitive card I have. It also got picky about the case I use it in so I stopped using it completely.

The last 486 chips (i.e. Am5x86) supported the 4x multiplier or the 3x multiplier, previous 486DX4 chips had the 3x multiplier. Both needed 3.x volt to run. Sorry it took so long to respond. Many of the ATX connector's pins are connected to internal layers. The ground pins are for sure, as are the main power rails. Did you check wether any of the larger transistors between CPU slot and RAM slots connect to the +3.3V pins on the AGP connector?
