That's for socket 7 dual-voltage CPUs (P55C, AMD K6) on boards that only support single-voltage. However, this is so low-quality that I would not recommend using it.

I use Roland / Edirol MA-10A speakers currently. They are quite large but sound great. Nice thing is that it has two inputs with a built-in mixer.

Added a LumaFix and heat sink to my C64 rev. B from 1983, which to my surprise had a R1 VIC II as well. 😊

Started checking a non-working C64 mainboard that I got a while ago. Look what I've found under the video circuitry shielding. IMG_20190927_163737879.jpg The very first version of the VIC II chip. Looks like these sell for quite a bit of money.

Not sure about the MakeIT, I only know these for 286 and 386SX. However, you can just replace the 386DX with a 486DLC. No special adapter required.

Wolfensten 3D requires VGA. While you can add a VGA card to the 1000 SL, it wouldn't be a good benchmark at all.
