If you use Flash-based storage, a cache controller makes no sense. Just use one that supports DMA / Bus Mastering.

Voltage is always 5V in case of the PC speaker. That's a perfect fit for 8 ohms at 0.25W.

Maybe the monitor is just bad at doing 1280x1024? Can also be the cable, as higher frequencies require a good, shielded cable.

You can't connect a PS/2 mouse to a keyboard port, so I don't see the point of your post. Don't get confused by those very late PS/2 combo ports used on some notebooks and office PCs until a few years ago. No such thing existed back then.

Partly repaired my Xbox today by swapping the DVD drive. The old one was completely dead, this one now works but the tray can only be opened manually.

There is no limit, since daisy-chaining was never intended. The port is designed for a single device. Daisy-chaining works until the voltage drops below the point where the other side can no longer distinguish between TTL high and low.

No. IDE = CHS with 504 MB limit (ST-506 emulation) E-IDE = CHS with higher values allowed = 8 GB limit LBA = 128 GB limit with 28 bit and 2 TB limit with 48 bit

Should I try the Intel PNP driver? If you mean ICU (Intel Configuration Utility): yes, you actually need to. DOS has no PNP, nor does your BIOS. So you must install ICU. After that, all your cards will work.
