Ordered a pile of capacitors to recap my Abit BH6 and Apoen AX34-U and learned that an overworked power supply could not be fixed by adding another diode to the regulator.

Filthy smokers and their tar filled components. The components when purchased smells of shi* and is a bitc* to clean. Gross. I recently got a Tandy 1000 and an AGP/ATX/Socket 7 setup from a chain smoking hoarder. The amount of cleaning I'm going to have to do before I can stay in the room with them …
