Made 1.73ghz cpu for my 440bx system ( asus cusl2 for now). Even doom 3 and halo are playable. I believe this cpu is faster than p3-s 1.4ghz, but mine died so I can't check.

1733mhz/256k vs 1400mhz/512kb I have both of these cpus, but I have only one FCPGA2->FCPGA adapter and I need to choose which processor to modify. 133 FSB is my limit (440bx mb). P.S. My 1300 is B1 stepping and I'm sure it will work on 1733 at voltage 1.75-1.8 .

Some i945 intel branded motherboard. Bad caps, and very weird way installed mosfets. I would never buy one for myself.

Another possibility would be a Via KT266A based motherboard with the fastest Athlon XP it can handle, since apparently that chipset also supports SDR although I don't remember ever seeing a motherboard based on this chipset that supported that kind of memory. I have ecs k7s5a , it handle 0.13 …

Mobo - microstar MS-5184 ( Via MVP3). 200MMX works 100% stable as 100x3 and even 112x2.5 on it but not this K6-2. It hangs while loading OS even as 100x2.5 regardless of voltage. Max stable FSB is 95mhz, so I had to stop at 95*3.5=333 :blah: Is it normal for 66FSB K6-2's? What prevents him from …
