When copying complete directories, xcopy is probably a better solution...or something like a Norton Commander 😉

🙁 🙁 Any1 know how big the current archive is? Patches scrolls probably has a lot of patches that are not available anymore... I certainly wouldn't mind if the complete archive would find it's way on some torrent 😁

733MHz is pretty low for dosbox. Also, there is no dynamic core for PowerPC...so only normal, which is a lot slower is available. I think your Mac simply does not have the power to run win 3.1 in dosbox.

Music is played via RedBook CD Audio. Make sure the CD Audio volume is not muted...

Maybe, glide is still in early experimental stage. You can't change the resolution, glide games control that and since voodoo1 did not support more than 640x480, that is the most you will get 😀

Works fine for me in Vista RC2 (64bit) with dgVoodoo wrapper (OpenGL is NOT available with Aero!). That unsupported call message is a debug message, it shouldn't be visible in the final builds. Call 135 is not important. I don't know about sound, I don't have any Audigy drivers installed in Vista …

You need libpng for screenshots. Look at the configure output, it should say something like screenshot support enabled or disabled.

Make sure glide2x.ovl (the dosbox version) is in the game directory.

Just to clarify...the software version loads the fist time it is started in all the cases (even if you quit and run it again), but does not seem to load if something was loaded before it.

Some programs or games might assume windows 3.11 is installed if they find c:\windows directory. So, they might wanna modify some files, you can imagine how WinXP could react to that 😀

No, it should work with default game install + voodoo rush patch + dosbox glide2x.ovl. It's also recommended to have dosbox modified openglide - glide2x.dll - in the dosbox directory, but in theory it should work with any other glide wrapper. Do you get any messages in the dosbox console?

DOS OVL file writes to this memory which function to run and then writes to IO port to activate it 😀

You need the glide2x.ovl for DOSBox and put it in the game directory. It's on ykhwong's page.
