The early 21st century crop of 4 head VCRs with instant auto tracking and comb filters etc make tape look a lot better than they did in the 80s or 90s. Only Betamax looked that good back in the day!

I only know about the thing from reviews and benchies, but it seems to me that it only has it's dual GPU potential MAXX out on a few titles and you may as well run a Rage Fury Pro the rest of the time. So add silly pricing to that and I can see why they don't get that much love.

The reason why you might have had trouble is if it was taken to the bigass groundplane in the middle layer of the board... meaning all the heat sucking out of it.

Not retro computing, but retro... doing some VHS captures for family, and one of the tapes had a downright flashy, embossed, golden label. Honestly I've never seen anything like this on a VHS tape. With mobile the min and max are locked but you can go anywhere in between... however, the mobile bridges were locked out on non-mobile CPUs in the Barton era and it was entirely locked, vs the mobile unlock that was possible in Tbred era, and direct multiplier bridge manipulation possible with XP …

Lurking somewhere in the muddy waters of my swamp/collection is a similar board, Tualatin compatible, no AGP, I figure when it surfaces it's gonna get one of the PCI 6200s I got on evilbay last year BNIB, last I checked there were some left still.
