How screwed are they? Well they had to announce it on Twitter https://twitter.com/Facebook? Nothing showing up on time to restore services, may take hours to propagate if DNS related. Edit: Update, everything was coming back up by about 5pm EST 4th Oct 2021.

You can make a simple converter for Svideo to composite, https://www.epanorama.net/circuits/svideo2cvideo.html but svideo to RGB is more involved and a converter box may be needed.

I knew of Ham Radio types still using BBC model Bs and Apple IIs into the 2000s, but most of those guys were somewhat advanced in years by then and not sure they'd still be with us. I bet those that are are still keep them going though.
