Works well enough, just cannot make VDM drivers to work with my Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS, but WDM work under Windows and play sounds from compatible games, no music tho. This PC is mainly for 16bit games that don't run under winXP and newer. 😀

Under DOS I have CuteMouse, not sure which version. I don't regret buying 98SE and ME even if not collector's item. 😀 And I didn't see too many updates for ME, not to mention on my Athlon it works well, even better than 98SE, which surpised me tbh. 😁

Sorry for doubling posts but I'll buy Sound Blaster 16 (still unsure which one) and ESS ES1868F - again not sure which one, does main chip really matters or I should choose specific ones? As for SB16 - I do not need: MPU-401 in it, header for daughterboard MIDI, and I do need legit OPL3. 😀

So, for my needs, should I get one or two of these? Sound Blaster 16, Sound Blaster Pro, Sound Blaster Pro 2, Aztech SC400, ESS Audiodrive 1868f, Or something else? I'm gonna admit, I'd prefer to pay more for SB Pro 2, because it seems the best. 😀

I forgot to mention I own older version of PCMIDI card so legit MPU401 is not a problem. 😀 Just sometimes I have to force unlock resources in BIOS as sometimes it collides with detection by driver. And AWEs don't support OPL? Not even OPL2?

Thanks @Hezus, this is answer I was really looking for. 😁 But I must admit, I didn't think about anything from regular SoundBlaster Pro, maybe Pro 2? And I never heard about ESS and Sound Galaxy. 😀 I saw Gravis as LGR reviewed tho.
