Yep there's a lot of post-2001 3D going on here Another thing to note about PCem and the Voodoo/Voodoo2 is that it's strictly a secondary video device, and those were generally dropped for support after 2000 especially due to how NT5 (2000/XP) handles them in DirectX, and how OpenGL is implemented …

What about using your emulated VGA drivers? In Virtualbox, you need a "generic" VGA driver for Virtualbox because their emulated video card has no drivers for Windows 98. In PCem you can choose a video card that has drivers for Windows 98 (i.e.: any S3 based video card) and installe that video card …

That probably depends on the version you're using now, but you should be able to find the info either in PCem itself (in v11 for instance it's under 'Disc' > 'Configure hard discs') or in pcem.cfg somewhere in the options that start with "hdc_". I believe it’s v12. So once I locate the file …
