If you use the 2M floppy utility, one of the main limitations is the inability to boot from 1.44MB media. The TSR also uses a few KB of conventional memory. I believe you can load or unload it as needed. To be honest, I haven't really played much with the TEAC SCSI adapter, but a PDF file for it …
