That depends on the RAM and cache timings you can achieve. If you have a board that may achieve 2-1-1-1 cache timing and good RAM timinigs at 50 MHz, do it. But first you have to find such a board. With 128 KB of L2 cache, I recommend to use 4, 5 or 8 MB of RAM. The cacheable area of a 386DX/486 with 128 kB cache size is 16 MB.

SCSI drives may not spin up after powering them on, especially when they are jumperered to wait for a spinup signal from controller.
