Is there an internet portal or webpage with lots of links that are friendly to old computers and web browsers ? A webpage with links to many other websites with lots of resources for old computers, games, and programs ?

I am running win95c and it works okay. I am also using an 8gb. CF card. Worked fine with conventional hard-drive too. I tried win98 too but it would barely run on this cpu. Minimum requirements for Win98 is a Pentium class cpu.

Most of there computers drivers load vanilla with Win95-98-2000-XP Only the Audio drivers which are usually Yamaha. Which you can install from the vogons driver library. As for there audio editing and video editing software. I don't need it. Unless someone has the applications extracted from the …

Are those Klipsch Pro Media 2.1 desktop speakers in the photo ? I did not know they had those back in 2000. I am using a CF card Sandisk Extreme 8gb. in my AMD 5x86-P75@133mhz. Works better than the WD 540mb IDE hard-drive I was using before. I can scan the CF card for viruses using McAfee 5.1.3 and listen to music at the same time. Multitasking is much better using the CF card. I don't know about swap …

Have you tried to share the drive on the network then connect to that share using a more current machine and scan it that way. Probably quicker and safer than sending every file on the system out over the internet. D'oh ! That's right I am using a CF card for a reason ? Not only to add files easily …

Is there any way to get rid of the HISSING and POPING sound. I really like this sound card it has good sound crisps and sharp, Good balance of trible and base. I am using Win95c with Windows drivers for this sound card.

I just received a Media Vision PAS16P card too. It has Yamaha YMF-OPL-262 Chip Thunder Chip Media Spectrum chip and Media Vision Chip So what exactly is it ? Does having the thunder chip make it a Thunder card too ? What exactly does the thunder chip do ?
