That's actually very cool! EDIT: Looks like I actually needed that link. I like to use a Rage Pro Turbo under Windows 98, mainly for compatibility. They really aren't as bad as many people say they are. It's really just about finding the right drivers/directx versions.

The win98 drivers can still be downloaded from AMD. However, they require directx 8.1 to work correctly. I found the older win95 compatible driver on archive.org from ati.com. Im going to try to find it again.

I would recommend the PIII Tualatin 1.4 first, and if you have any speed/compatibility issues, have the Pentium 200MMX as a good second choice. Just make sure that you have a 2D card as well, as the Voodoo 1 and 2 only do 3D graphics.

It's probably the scaling that's the issue. The system is now hooked up to a CRT and is getting solid performance in NFS high stakes (PII 400 MHz, 384 MB PC-100 RAM).

My PSU should be just fine. Its a 380 watt Antec (with an adequate 5v rail for the AMD boards that need it).
