I would suggest to go with AMD cards like 3850 or 3650 instead GeForce 7 series. The main reason is because you get with more recent card, but also more energy efficient, better support for hardware video decoding. 3d performance etc.

I received today an UMC U5SX 40MHz. Bought this CPU for $ 25 and personally I think it's great deal. Because there is no PDF for this cpu available on the internet, do you guys know if the "SX" symbol means that there is no coprocessor in this CPU?

Did you tried let's say 32 and 64MB or you try some big SDRAM sticks like 128MB? I actually had similar problem once and it turned out to be hardware error. Couple resistors near the ram slots on the mobo were torn.

I've bought this ASUS M2N Sli Deluxe. It came with AMD Athlon64 X2 5000+ and 4 sticks of 1GB DDR-2 PC2-6400. Paid $12. The motherboard is a bit dusty, but I'll take care of that. The nice touch is that it has I/O shield.
