I bought a hard disk (IBM DHAS) to use inside my Amiga1200 and I discovered that instead of having a 50 pin connector (perhaps a small one given that it is a 2.5" disk), it has a 40 pin connector... but I will be able to connect it to the card that has a mini 50pin connector?

I have some IBM from 8088 to Pentium4, the quality drop constantly from 486 to pentium to pentium II/III and the Pentium4 IBM is the only one i have that have lakead caps... not buy an IBM if you aren't collector like me

I have recently developed my "retro" machines but I chose SCSI controller and 15,000rpm SCSI hard disk. If you want to be more "retro" than using SSDs I think there is nothing that can come close to 15k scsi disks.

not really, sometimes i find a good price on ebay for specifich item. example: 3x 15k scsi drive (two are 68pin!) at 36€ shippied in my country (coming also from my country)

In my Amiga 1200 i can go from a 14Mhz 68020 to a 300Mhz of the Powerpc 603. Can probably the most wide increase in performance.
