Only fyi: I just ordered a couple of PCBs for another card from elecrow in SZ, which I'm gonna populate over the next days to test: They didn't put any pool marker on this batch.

One other option could be: Install e.g. a network card carrying an XTIDE Bios Extension EPROM. It allows you to swap drives on boot.

And if your list still has open slots, I'd be very happy to take and solder one, too.

Since I only came across this late last year: happy to jump in with $60 for a prototype and doing some testing in a bunch of machines and environments afterwards.

Personally no extensive need for SPDIF, but happy to jump in with a donation, if this becomes the majority decision. Also able to test in different systems as a drop-in replacement for a GUS.

PCB is a fun and quite unique choice and I would be very happy with it, but agree, any option would be perfectly fine with me.
