Yes, score was achieved with the Luckystar LS-486E rev.D based PC. Single memory module - LGS 16Mb 60ns EDO. 4V (!) to CPU running at 200MHz (3x66). Very interesting find indeed. Didn't check back then with more than 64Mb because of the 256Kb L2 cache module limit but with 1Mb module you exposed an address-range "performance hole". There was mode_info struct (VESA API) that gets filled with details upon buffer initialization. One of the fields is the physical address. Point being is that LFB's mem address can be easily obtained from there.

@Feipoa - both Chad and myself hit 22+ fps in Quake 1 before. @chadti99 MSI-4144 is slow board but apparently that allows it to scale a bit further than the rest. It motivates me to check bunch of mobos here at 4x50MHz. Bofer i was pushing them at 3x66 and most didnt do that well. Hope you get it …
