DOSBox rejects the creation of files that have names that look like random memory. This is to prevent DOSBox from flooding the harddrive with odd files incase the emulation goes haywire. It is one of the oldest sanity checks in the DOSBox emulated DOS.

Numlock problem is known and has been fixed already in the current code. Alt-Tab is indeed tricky. Not sure if we can really improve it.

The documentation of themepark (support articles) mention something along the lines of: We never released a patch as the game works perfectly if you the microsoft mouse driver.

it makes no sense that you end up at z:\ you have to change to the C drive and go to the directory to run it. So DON'T DO THIS c:\app\app.exe but something like this c: cd app app.exe And of course dosbox is intended for games not apps. edit: printer port ? We don't emulate that, so you are out of …

brucelee uses int10 0x9 to write the status bar to the screen. characterheight=8 on the 0x40:85
