This forum is for plain DOSBox, not boxer. Who knows what the author did to the keyboard handling. dominus. Not sure how to detect those.

The behaviour is similar to our ctrl-f9 quit key, although that one can be unmapped, but there is no dos game that wants to use the Cmd key.

on a mac you need fn-ctrl-cmd-f1. All other f-keys don't need cmd, only f1. (at least last time I tried it)

dosbox doesn't do much screen handling on its own. It relies on libsdl for that. That one has a set of environment variables that you can set. I think some of them might have influence on the multiple monitor behavior.

your pc has some sort of sleep mode that activates or so ? dosbox in its default configuration doesn't do a thing regarding internet or any network at all.

there is an item in the readme on this subject. basicly the hp keyboard driver setup is buggy and you need to install a different one, remove the weird ones

1.7 Gb or so. (2 gb with shared video memory) although I did it before this machine as well on a 512 mb machine.

never experienced that. I run linux on my primary system without swap for over 5 years now.
