yes but it is a variable the whole idea of setting it without using SET is a imho stupid shortcut that never should have added to DOS. Hence I added it for compatibility reasons. not because it makes any sense.

well I added that description as I found it a stupid command in the first place. IMHO the only way you should alter the path is with the "SET PATH=" command.

the error originates from /usr/include/linux/cdrom.h:15, which isn't a dosbox header. So DOSBox would probably compile fine. Somehow your own kernel/libc headers are broken.

49716 is the internal rate of a real opl2 card. old is the 0.72 version

copy the file dosbox-0.73.conf to there and modify the shortcut to dosbox and add -conf dosbox-0.73.conf (possibly adding the fullpath to it in front)

find the configfile of dosbox for that game find cycles=7000 set it to something higher. Enjoy.

the source was tested on a lot of version of GCC. and the pentium III shouldn't bring any problems either. Let's wait what your 4.3.3 compiler does before jumping to conclusions

i recall textmode doesn't allow aspect correct or so because else it looks too ugly according to harekiet. So textmodes are a bit special in dosbox. did you try the vgaonly textmode ? (machine=vgaonly) that one has a different resolution

set core=dynamic as well for arena
