well I can't look into the future. Currently 3dfx emulation has little interrest by me. the wrapper solution currently the most.

ah I allready found the bug a while ago. Application wants to find NUL with findfirst. A fix is currently being tested by the betatesters

that patch isn't in the cvs yet. That is why it is not in AEP builds. Which game does have a problem ? Might be another testcase.

You have sound in other games and are the games complete (e.g. not ripped? although I can't imagine anyone ripping pcspeaker music) Does midi work at your place ? I have a vague rememberence that it uses midi for sound

What is the difference between regular DK and DKgold ? I only played the regular one. I don't remember it being particulary slow. Which screen resolution did you select?

do you have a savegame just before it happends ? and there is no need for 64 mb memory. please set it back to 16 (yes it can cause problems)

MSCDEC: Failure: Path not valid means that something is wrong with you cue according to dosbox. can you post the contents of you cue file ?

the logs looks okay. It creates 2 tempfiles. (first checks if the directory exists, then it checks for the temp file (not exist => createfile) then it writes and reads data from them. I don't know if the fat read/write/seek routines are 100 % correct (harddrive images are relatively new) I can …
