Search \ VOGONS

try installing dosbox to a diferent location and see if it works then In vista the editing of dosbox.conf doesn't always happen on the real file, but on copy. you can see if this is the case by typing Copy code to clipboard 1 type autoexec.bat inside dosbox. See if the lines you want are there.

i debugged that specific application and most of the time spend was actually inside the emulated program not in dosbox generating the listings. (but this was without network,but with a lot of files) The only thing that dosbox does that slows it down is a stat call on each file to determine the date …
