try mounting the iso directly in dosbox using imgmount (imgmount d isofile -t iso)

scandisk utilities are closely tight to the supported filesystems by the os. Hence mixing them is a bad idea.

hmm weird. I recall installing Xcom not that long before 0.71/72 and all was well then (bypassing the cdrom check by playing with the cycles)

they are gone as the command mode and regular mode were merged you can get comparable behaviour (although it is more typing) by entering logs 100

dbgl allready supports generating a dosbox.conf if none is present. so it could (and maybe allready does) store the supported options in the database (at the same place where the diffferent version are stored). so on the addition of a new version a configfile could be created which will be used to …

Hi Ronald, First of all a question: Does it support the debugger version of dosbox (and extra section in the configfile) ? Second a problem report: DBGL isn't totally compatibile with dosbox under linux. The problem is that the version dialog really wants to use an directory instead of a dosbox …

"seems to be getting ignored" is vague. start dosbox from a console and it will tell which configfile it uses (or if it doesn't use one it will you as well)
