The repair update might have been a bit hasty or not performed by the original creator. the txt files are from 0.71 while the executable is from 0.70

different compressor selected in the installer bz2 in 0.70 and lzma in 0.71

bug in dosbox. although it doesn't show on xp/2k. nothing you can do. we will release a new version of dosbox which should have this bug fixed. (probably in the upcoming week)

Read this post first! They are allowed to do that. Our license allows that. However it seems that they removed COPYING and other files which aren't meant to be removed. edit: They seem to have to added those files again. Great! The customized version of DOSBox is the normal 0.70 with a small loader …

supermount or so. Personally I use isos or cue/bin for most games. (imgmount supports multiple images)

I recall that at one point in time the mac os x package maker disabled our internal icon as mac os x would set it's own. This can be done inthe file src/gui/sdlmain.cpp near the bottom (some #ifdef with BIG_WORDS)
