anyway it't not dosbox that is off. it your monitor that is off. It's a long story to explain. fullfixed and things like that are for those broken monitors

well dosbox simply gets inte output from SDL which get's it from X. It's indeed weird. I always use PS/2 type connections. Seems like I made wel choice (got a combo mouse as well)

probably some video card driver issue tyr a different output for dosbox. (in the configfile) and try a different display depth.

uhm you need to mount the cdrom in linux as well dosbox uses the mounted image to get the directory index and uses the lowlevel acces for audiotracks (and related functions)

well technically and now I know why there is no support for all those experimental features. So disable automatic cycle updating. Change output to overlay and then find your optimum cycles! Best is to change the decoder(core) to normal. When you have done that then you can report your problems again …

"it doesn't seem quite right " is awful vague about what is wrong. Is it the sound/speed or does it crash...... And please keep in mind that most settings are depended on your own pc. (performance wise) So it's essential to include at least your CPU speed

right. Fixed that contraption Zack. They used the RTC for timing and checked it's registers to see which kind of interrupt occured. (a bit weird as they enabled only one type of interrupts)

Uhm let's see. first of all 66000 cycles is maybe a bit too high. Sound might not be of the best quality when using the dynamic core. So try the regular core (normal) with much less cycles. the soundblaster 16 is backwards compatible with earlier models although you can order dosbox to emulate an …

well It would be nice if you could figure that loopback stuff out. A special mode only for warcraft is unlogical 😀 Can't help you figure it out though. Not much freetime. On the irc channel of dosbox are a few people. but I doubt they play multiplayer.
