dos only supported 2 buttons. (in principal it could steal 2 from an unused joystick)

uhm mouse support for win3.11 isn't that hard. (it's ready to go in to the offical cvs) it would only mean a new option in the configuration file and i wonder if windows is worth a complete option.

uhm even if you can get the game reading the 16 bit movies dosbox will not display them as dosbox has 8 bit (256) maximum colors

uhm when speaking about fs fat you allready have a fdisked drive and therefore imgmount C harddisk.img ...... is correct.

a configfile is infact an overlay to the default values. so you can only use the changes. PIC_IRQCHECK is a variable that contains the lists of irqs that should be handled. (say their irq line is up) so if there are irqs that have their irq line up : add the current (yet to do) amount of cpu instructions to the big value and set the counter to zero. this results in stopping the dosbox …

it's not that easy to debug. the trapflag is triggered by 0137:00007170 iret the stack seems to corrupt at that place as the a few lines above that the contents of ax=cs (after a pop ax) they seem to count how many times they are in the timer loop. Oh well maybe somebody else can figure out why that …

try less ? maybe some overflow somewhere more then 2 gb total mem (virt +swap) isn't something a game expects i think.

well first things first a pIII 489 MHZ will run these heavy games slow(in dosbox) no matter what you try. next. 637 kb free is very very much. you are probably referring to the ems/xms of 16 mb. that one can be changed in dosbox.conf and is called memsize (supprise supprise)

hmm okay as you said it was a cdrom game i would suggest that you type "intro cdrom" in dosbox Try using one of the lower methods and then try with sound configuration again. (set them to soundblaster 16 if available)
