uhm stonekeep runs fine in dosbox. be sure to use 0.63 if you asking how many to pull that trick without a real config.sys ? Read the source luke 😀 Dosbox comes with files=127 as default value 😀 so you can open a lot of files. especially considering most files are shared between psps

well the trouble is sdl_sound itself. it has a lot of problem and we had to modify it source. I recall that you have to modify the file sdl_sound_internal.h and look for a undefinition of inline that is wrong and should be a defintion.

i think the line Copy code to clipboard 1 - " Supported are none,normal2x,advmame2x\n" fails as that list is different. look in the configfile what the correct line should be

well I added command 80 to the switch for 7cog unfortunately it somehow (according to your reports) does an 81 as well. a bit odd as it doesn't happen at my place.... any way the whole idea of 80 is wrong. (it's the 8 that counts not the 0) so it will be changed in a way that the 0 are ignored in …

you are using 0.63 i presume. Well it's hard to say. FCBS is indeed very old. (was the official way for accesing files in dos 1.1) abandonded in dos 2.0 i think

c:\msys\1.0\local the right location ? Really ? it seems a odd location anyway just add the include directores to the CXXFLAGS before starting dosbox. dosbox uses the default search path of the compiler.......

fcbs are supported to some extend. Dunno what your application exactly needs. You can't change a thing in the configfile to improve it.

uhm dosbox itself isn't entirely correct you know the if(i==2) i=9; line is flawed is such way that it can only be reached by having irq 2 unmasked and active....... while in reality ir9 will be active if the mpu put's its irq 2 line up (so it doesn't care about irq2 being active and or masked. ) ( …
