PC speaker: sounds like a neat thing to do. One could probably even do this with a DOS TSR. Using EMM386 you could intercept writes to the port 0x61 and then count the time since the last write, and dump the time and the frequency written into some array, writing to disk later when the user …

Hi, Apparently, few peoples have info 😀 I saw some video on YouTube, it seems that Deskmate use the DAC for Tandy having it and play samples, that is why there are instruments names. 😀

Hi, I am planning to support the .SNG Tandy file format in Mod Master. I found a file format document, but it is not totally complete. Information about the timing (Duration of each note), Frequency used for the notes are missing. Doers anybody have information or source code ? Thanks ! FreddyV

This new B19 still doesn't mute .dro files at the end. Other files are ok. Soundcard is CMI8330 on 286 CPU, and AZT2316/YMF718 on 486 CPU. On 486 CTRL+ALT+DELETE helps, on 286 only hard reset, or power toggle. Dosbox is ok, I observed this behavior only on real hardware. Also .dro player routine …

Hi, I found I used an older version of the DRO player in this release that do not clear OPL3 registers at the end. So I did this small update, correcting the RAD partition display as well. I keep the same version as it was supposed to be this way before.

Hi, I definitely need it for Tandy as well, I am currently trying to decrypt the Tandy .sng file format, but the Tandy music use "Instruments", I suppose these instruments are done with variations of the output frequency/Volume… We can surely extend the .DRO format with PC Speaker, CMS and Tandy …

There is one amiga fan in my team. when I said Tandy is a legendary machine in the USA, he laughed. Just some minutes ago…. Each time I buy an XT, he say another useless machine. Of course Amiga is better than an XT, but they are part of the history and I like to show what they can do
